I’ve always been curious; from a young age, I’ve been obsessed with getting to the truth and root of things— people and their idiosyncrasies, the emotion of a particular moment or place, etc. This inspired me to study Psychology in hopes to better understand how we project ourselves onto this complex world and vice versa. I've dipped my toe into different work sectors, but most resonate with the world of branding and social media. It feels like a natural exercise in getting to the root or truth of something and then artistically expressing that in a way that can vibrantly resonate with others.

A couple of my favorites 📚
A book that got me thinking about how we can come to some overarching truth about a cultural aspect and apply that to smart branding.
Perhaps a bit torturous, but beautifully so.
Book > Movie... call me basic, but Aciman's language is poetic. To read this book is to go on a vacation and to bathe in his descriptions (though there is much more depth to it than simply the beauty of his prose).
Transplanted me to another world for a couple of days.
MUSIC 💿
Polo & Pan. Funky and fun, feels like summer.
Angèle. She was my first taste of French Pop! I'm inspired by Angèle's playful art direction (especially for her album "Brol").
Solange. Watch her performance (via YouTube) at Sydney Opera House- the set design, the outfits, the dancing... all so perfectly ambient and fearless.
Jungle. Fell in love with this group after watching their "Heavy, California" music video. All of their stuff is feel good, windows down on Highway 1.
Caroline Polachek. If she were an animal, she would be a swan. Her music is beautiful, but with a bite.
